About Got Cents?
Change for a Penny, Inc. is a non-profit corporation seeking to raise awareness of the pandemic of AIDS in Africa, while at the same time raising funds for existing charitable and religious organizations that are already addressing the issue. All funds contributed to Change for a Penny will be donated or used to benefit organizations fighting AIDS in Africa.
We are currently reviewing other charitable and religious organizations that might be supported. If you have suggestions, please send us an e-mail at info@gotcents.org.

Why Collect Pennies?
- Because 19,000,000 is a number that is too big for us to picture in our minds.
- Because on December 1 (World AIDS Day), we want to display 19,000,000 pennies for the world to see.
- Because the problem always seems too big, before you take a first step.
- Because the weakest coin in the United States can make a big difference in Africa.
- Because the average person in Africa lives on less than $1 per day.
